Job Description:
This individual will be a member of the Financial Institutions Group (FIG) application development team, responsible for the development, maintenance and production support of the suite of UNIX based C/C++ applications supported by the group.
The individual will be responsible for full project lifecycle activities (SDLC). These include coordinating with users and support staff to collect and document requirements, design and implement new software initiatives, software modifications and enhancements, coordinate QA testing and release management, and documentation of applications and processes. Skills Required:
. C/C++ software development in a multi-threaded UNIX / AIX Operating Environment
. UNIX Shell development skills
. SQL development skills
. Ability to work independently
. Business Process Analysis - Successful candidate should be detail oriented, familiar with best practices on Software System Development, and able to perform requirements analysis.

Technology Required:
. Hands-on experience with UNIX / AIX operating environment
. Multi-threaded C/C++ development.
. Hand-on experience with Sybase and SQL-Server 2000 Stored Procedures.
. Shell programming (C-Shell, Bourne Shell)
. Microsoft Operating System and development tools including .Net/C#, MS Visual Studio a plus.
Qualifications:
. 5 to 10 years experience in the IT industry with demonstrated record of accomplishment successfully utilizing all phases of SDLC.
. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
. Finance / Accounting experience a plus
. Excellent oral and written communication skills.
