Leading Financial Services firm located in downtown Manhattan is seeking the following;
Job Description:

You will work a flexible shift 12 PM to 8 PM including Saturday & Sunday project work. You will be responsible for the coordination of the development-to-production move of applications on Windows and UNIX platforms during the off-hours. A qualified candidate must have experience working with change management/ version control tools and related methodologies.

. Coordinate and support the development-to-production release of applications
. Identify/document inter-dependencies of the change control process and version management and how these relate to the current business environment
. Assist in analyzing production requirements, as well as coding/ maintaining scripts and building job streams designed to streamline production processing
. Assist in performing tasks related to batch job setup and scheduling (using Control-M/Enterprise Manager software tool)
. Provide secondary support for our enterprise backup/recovery system and TDR activities
. 24/7/365 support of the production environment
. Provide support for the Software Configuration Management (SCM) environment used to store all application source code

salary plus bonus plus benefits Experience: Requirements:

. Minimum of 1 year of experience with version control software ( i.e. MKS Source, VSS, ClearCase, PVCS, CCC, etc.) required
. At least 1 year of experience with UNIX utilities and shell scripting
. Familiarity with SQL, C/C++, Java, Visual Basic and IIS web-based applications is a plus
. Working knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2003 and Microsoft Office
. Candidate must be detail oriented, able to write clear and concise documentation and be able to work as part of a team, or independently
. Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills
