The successful candidate will have Ultimate responsibility for the Information Technology Department. In addition, the Information Technology department is the IT service provider for Global Finance, which has different offices in the United States. The Head of IT will also perform functions as specified below. IT¡¦s primary role is to support the daily business operations. Also responsible for proposing, implementing and monitoring technical solutions to existing problems and business processes. Another important task is to study business activity and to anticipate the business needs. Additionally, IT plays a key role in the company's Business Continuity and Recovery Plan. The HEAD OF IT is responsible for Budgeting, with guidelines from the Local Management as well as from Headquarters. The Department has 2 divisions (i.e.,Technical Support Services and Business Support Services) Key responsibilities: „X Manage the groups reporting into the IT function according to banking needs. „X Ensure the Support group is the first and second line of support (helpdesk) for all users. „X Ensure that the Development group is able to maintain support (e.g., internal software development) and develop business. „X Be a key player in several support projects in which a specific system is necessary to obtain a business goal or to comply with external requirements. „X Expand business knowledge in order to better serve the different departments. Ensure IT becomes a business services provider. Experience: Education: Minimum 4 year degree Job Knowledge: Extensive knowledge of Information Systems and Banking/Trading Products Job Knowledge Minimum 5 years experience Management Skills: Ability to manage a team of people and lead a large variety of projects Other Skills, e.g. : • Interpersonal: very strong; ability to work with technical staff and with internal clients (Heads of Departments) • Decision-making: strong Working conditions/Environment: Ability to work within pressure and time sensitive periods VERY NICE TO HAVE: Knowledge of Trading Systems such as Summit Systems, Calypso, Bloomberg, Murex, Oberon, ACBS, etc.. send resume to: To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
