Process Design and Business Analyst in New York, NY

Position Overview: Process Design and Business Analyst works with the business and IS technical teams to analyze and document processes and functional requirements for software application projects, with full ownership to deliver the tested applications to the business. Primary Responsibilities/Accountabilities:

Develop a fundamental understanding of present and future business processes defined for a project by working closely with internal clients from global sourcing

Work with internal clients to document current business processes and target processes.

Develop proficiency and comprehensive understanding of Sourcing application software systems - functionality and capabilities of the system.

Document functional requirements, including use cases, data requirements, and business rules, for new functionality and enhancements.

Develop test scenarios and test scripts

Execution of unit and regression testing

Learn and make use of appropriate technology tools to document and track your work

Preview system functionality with training team on the systems for which you are responsible

International travel 1-3 times/year, depending on the project. Requirements:

Bachelors degree, or equivalent

Ability to work within a team and collaborate toward team goals

Must be detail-oriented

Strong communication skills a must

Strong PC skills

Ability to take initiative

Ability to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment

Ability to manage to deadlines
