Sr. C#.NET Application Developer in New York, NY

Candidates must be proficient with the following: - Computer Science fundamentals including data-structures and algorithms - Object-oriented programming in any of C++, Java or C# .NET –- preferably C# .NET - RDBMS design & development (including experience with performance and tuning) - Experience having worked in all phase of the software development life-cycle including build & release processes - Building and deploying multi-tier scalable & reliable architectures or Service Oriented Architectures Experience: Experience with the following is ideal: - Middleware technologies such as JMS, Tibco Rendezvous, web-services is a strong plus - Designing & developing in the front, middle & back-ends of the aforementioned scalable & reliable architectures - Scripting languages like Python, Perl or Tcl Our IT development group is building a scalable, multi-tier, trading & portfolio-management system to be used by all of its Collateralized Debt Obligation (CDO) portfolio management groups.
