Global Financial Firm located in New York, NY has an immediate contract opportunity for an experienced Developer/Analyst.POSITION: Sr. Developer/Analyst BUSINESS AREA: CVA infrastructureJOB DESCRIPTION:The person would work in CVA infrastructure group, build Datawarehouse which interface with multiple systems. The Datawarehouse will host common data (market data, customer data, etc) which will be distributed to multiple applications. It also consolidates CVA results computed by various front office systems into the Datawarehouse for aggregation and reports. The person will build the APIs that interface with upstream and downstream systems, build tools for data analysis and reporting.QUALIFICATIONS:The person should have solid understanding of counterparty risk management. CVA specific knowledge is a plus. The person should have at least 5 years of design and development experience in financial industry with data warehouse, SQL Server, Java, .Net, C/C . He/she should have extensively worked with Reporting Services. Thorough working knowledge of the entire Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC),The person should have strong analytical skills and understand pricing models, Monte Carlo simulations, etc. Good communication skill is a must since the project involves interaction and collaboration with multiple development groups.
