Business and Planning Analyst III (0674) in Buffalo, NY

M&T Bank has a great opportunity available in Retail Reporting and Analysis Group within our Retail Banking Division.  In this role, the successful candidate will accumulate, process and distribute data and work closely with senior management.  This candidate will also produce sales, expense, staffing and ad hoc reports using a variety of software packages.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for providing complex, non-routine analytical, technical, and operational support at the business or department level.  May act as project leader on highly visible projects.1. Data Accumulation: Help to gather data from various Bank systems, process the data into manageable datasets and make the data available to other members of the team.2. Data Reporting: Produce sales, expense, staffing and ad hoc reporting. 3. Research and Development: Conduct research into available software and resources that provide for a more dynamic reporting environment.  Develop new formats and delivery mechanisms to support a dynamic environment (static, interactive, web based, etc.).BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or above in MIS or related field of study or have 4+ years professional experience in relevant environment3+ years experience in a role involving detailed database managementExcellent analytical and data interpretation skills utilizing SQL Solid experience with Access and Excel.Excellent written and interpersonal skillsOrganized, detail oriented with strong time management and prioritization skills requiredAbility to interact with all levels of managementIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS:2+ years experience using Microsoft SQL, Visual Studio and/or other web development software2+ years professional experience in Information SystemsWorking experience using CCME, MTRACK and/or DATAMART systems To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
