TITLE: Form Web Designer Must have: Web development experience with PHP or VBS or JS in HTML with ASP or ASP .NETLocation: Brooklyn, NYApply now at (see below) or call Form Web Designer will configure the special education forms required for the NYCDOE SESIS initiative. As part of this configuration, the Form Web Designer will create the data dictionary, implement the business rules, and customize the look and feel for usability. This role is responsible for the following activities:1. Collaborate with subject matter experts, functional lead, and business analyst to define best configuration2. Collaborate with system administrators and subject matter experts to map business process to TIENET form templates, guided actions, child templates, and profiles3. Establish form templates and section templates for various federal, state, and local forms4. Configure template security5. Resolve issues identified during testing including user acceptance testing6. Deploy, manage, and promote configured forms to various environments7. Make minor adjustments to forms based on end-user feedback during evaluation period8. Provide administrative support to project work streamPrimary work is for the New York City Board of Education, located in Brooklyn, NYEDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: 1. Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Technology, Business, Education, Special Education, Curriculum and Instruction or related field, and one year of technical support experience2. HTML/CSS, JavaScript and SQL knowledge3. Web development experience with PHP or VBS or JS in HTML with ASP or ASP .NET.4. Must possess a high level of comfort with the Windows operating system (experience with Macintosh OS a plus)5. Must be very familiar with hand-coding HTML (not using a WYSIWYG editor) and have a basic knowledge of programming/scripting concepts; 6. JavaScript knowledge7. Knowledge of both database systems and special education a plus8. Demonstrated ability to learn technical concepts quickly9. Ability to provide technology support and help desk10. Must be personable and polite to customers under all circumstances11. Problem solving skills are essential12. Good time management and documentation skills are necessary for this position13. Ability to communicate effectively with both clients and staff14. Organizational skills15. Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment16. Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously17. Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently18.
