Lead Quality Assurance Engineer - in New York, NY

Our client is looking for a Lead QA Engineer to join its development team to lead the testing effort for our site. The ideal candidate should have a strong desire to work in a highly agile environment and have a keen interest in and enthusiasm for the quality assurance process in general. The Lead QA Engineer will define both the manual and automated testing process using Selenium and execute the necessary tests to ensure new functionality is production ready. This is a hands-on position and the candidate will be required to do both manual and automated testing as well as lead a small team. Requirements: * 5+ years experience planning and executing manual and automated tests in an agile environment. * Experience developing and executing tests using Selenium and Selenium Grid * Hands on experience scripting with a high level language such as Python or Perl * Able to execute back-end database validations using SQL * Hands on experience working in a Linux environment * Isolate, reproduce, and track bugs and verify fixes * Write up clear and concise defect reports in bug tracking system.
