Technical Recruiter (financial technology skills) in New York, NY

Ajilon Consulting, part of the Adecco Group - world's largest staffing firm, is currently looking for a Senior Technical Recruiter for the New York City district. You will join a team of recruiters who focus on contingent, contract, temp to hire and permanent positions for all levels within the financial and technical industries primarily. The Sr. Recruiter will provide an established database of existing candidates along with traditional recruiting methods; job boards, career sites, users groups (Linked In, Facebook...), referrals and pipelining resources. Successful recruiters will interview prospective candidates, check references, schedule interviews, maintain our internal database, negotiate rates, meet all required compliance guidelines and serve as the candidates' main point of contact throughout the lifecycle. The ideal candidate will have a sharp eye for details, be thorough in the sourcing of qualified candidates and have the ability to anticipate issues before they occur. Experience: Position requires 2 or more years recruiting experience within the financial industry supporting IT / technical positions (BA's, PM's, Developers, QA, Infrastructure support, Directors...). Background should include a successful track record in full cycle recruiting as well as a strong understanding of information technology (coding languages, O/S platforms, understanding financial domains). Requires the ability to handle short and long-term consulting positions as well as permanent needs with clients. Strong communication and teamwork skills are a must with the ability to develop strong relationships with technology professionals. Must be able to work in a large fast paced corporate environment managing several high priority requirements simultaneously. Recruiter will have strong skills with MS Office suite (Word, Excel, Outlook). Will consider candidates coming from a hands on technical background with a business degree looking to change career paths. Position is salary plus commision based.
