Genesis10 is seeking a Middleware Engineer for our major Banking client on a 1 year contract basis. This position can be located in NYC, Norfolk VA, Jacksonville FL, Concord CA or Charlotte NC. Experience: Required Experience/Skills: - Experience with Websphere app server 6.x (ND, VE, Extreme Scale) in a high availability environment. - Experience with Sun Web and IHS web servers. - Experience with RHEL 5, Jboss EAP 4.3, Apache 2.2, Tomcat 6.0, JON. - Must have strong UNIX/LINUX command line (shell) skills. Shell Scripting. - Good communication Skills. - Must have strong documentation skills. - Some understanding of J2EE architectures and SOA. - Solid Understanding of J2EE technologies (JNI,JDBC,JMS,JNDI,JTA,JAAS,etc.). - Strong troubleshooting and problem solving skills. - Understanding of Networking concepts/technologies/principles. - Ability to provide 24x7 support for production environments. - Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to identify problems, offer solutions and own issues through to resolution.
