We have a long-term consulting opening leaving us in search of a software development professional that has experience developing business reporting relating applications.
Will apply a blend of Java, JDBC, SQL, EJB and other J2EE related experiences to assist our client in the development of reporting applications that will allow them to gather real-time information used to better manage there day-to-day business activities.
This individual will take full ownership of each aspect of the development life cycle surrounding these reporting applications. Perform analysis, complex data modeling, design, development, testing, implementation and support for multiple concurrent reporting applications.
Responsibilities will include developing and adhering to project deadlines, UI development, developing both simple and complex PL*SQL statement to extract and import information out of an Oracle database and modification of these applications as need to include additional future functionality.
Experience: BS/BS degree in Computer Science or related degree
3-5+ years Java development experience
2-3+ years of in-depth experience in each of these tools: JDBC and SQL
. Must have experience with complex data models
. Must have experience with reporting applications
. Must have knowledge of EJB and J2EE
. Hibernate experience a plus
. For this requirement, knowledge is EJB and J2EE is important, but the experience related to reporting
(SQL, JDBC) is more significant.
