Technical responsibilities

Develop, maintain and support customer applications (Workflow Imaging, eCommerce Services, Violations Management System, Mobile Wireless Citation Issuance System).

Design Screen mock-ups and screen flow.

Implement the requirements (captured as process diagrams) using business process modeling capabilities.

Partition development into

browser side - html, JavaScript (presented view)

presentation (execution view)

business logic (model, controller)

Understand when to retain manual processes and when to automate.

Develop the process model and record the actors for each activity

Develops the physical diagram or deployment diagram for the process model (identifies BPM Data attributes, User roles, etc)

Follow best practices when translating business requirements into a viable process model.

Responsible for developing Java based application logic to support business process model

Must be well versed with Java language, Server side programming (Servlets, Session management, Browser dependencies, etc), J2EE technologies such as JNDI, JDBC.

Based on the project requirements the developer needs to be familiar with EJB, JMS and other integration technologies

Unit test developed code. Develop procedures for independently testing code developed.
