QA Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Products Technology in NEW YORK, NY

The purpose of this role is to provide hands on support for the QA testing process. The scope of this position is all testing efforts related to US real-time pricing and risk system such as: establishing a well-defined process between development and QA teams, developing test plans, and ensuring high quality of all delivered products.<p> Leadership and Strategic Thinking<p> &#183; Experience in managing offshore resources that are responsible for test execution.<p> Technical<p> &#183; In depth experience in writing and updating Test Plans, Test Design Specifications and Test Cases.<p> &#183; Experience with life cycle stages of software development, including requirements management, design technical specifications, in addition to implementation and testing.<p> Experience in writing automated tests scripts using QTP, WinRunner<p> Business<p> <b> &#183; Previous experience in QA related to Fixed Income with an understanding of real-time pricing and risk calculations for US Treasuries and Agencies bond products.</b><p> Experience: Primary Objectives<p> Design, implementation and documentation of Q.A. test plans and procedures ensuring complete functional test coverage. <p> Support all test activities, enhance, develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, record and track software discrepancies. <p> All test scripts and defects are to be managed through Mercury Quality Center. <p> Work with project Stakeholders and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality. <p> Ensure that all domain knowledge and test cases are articulated and structured well to enable swift execution by any other member of the QA team. <p> Develop standardized automation scripts that can be utilized repeatedly during testing. <p> Provide Q.A. project overview to QA management in NY and progress tracking using Q.A. tools including Quality Center to enter, run and manage test cases, defects and report results. <p> Work closely with development and the client community on requirement review and prompt follow up on open questions. <p> Implementation of process improvements resulting from lessons learned and PIR (Project Implementation Reviews) <p> Responsible for the Quality Assurance Plan with a strong focus on teamwork and successful execution of the project.
