Main Job Function
Report to technical lead of CDO IT. Perform the main duties in a semi-tactical environment while keeping in mind the strategic vision.
Main Duties and Responsibilities
Application development in a fast-paced dynamic, business facing environment. Day to day responsibilities include analysis, design, development and delivery, while adhering to a defined SDLC.
Qualifications/Education Required
Bachelor degree in computer science, software engineering, or mathematics
Qualifications/Education Preferred
Experience Required
. 3-4 years of development experience
. Team player and good communication skills
. Experience in a trading floor environment and working with traders/front office
. Basic financial product knowledge, particularly credit (Bonds, CDS, CDO, MBS)
Experience Preferred
Skills / Aptitude Required
. Strong Excel programming
. Strong transact SQL programming and SQL Server database experience
. Database/SQL
. Exposure to .NET an advantage
Skills / Aptitude Preferred
. Microsoft Certified Professionals (MCPs) a plus
. Other standard professional tests a plus
. .NET/C# a plus
. SQL Server and associated tools (Analysis/Reporting Services) a plus
