Position is in Research and Publications Department/New York office. The department's mission is to analyze and communicate to our consultants and clients the various statutory, regulatory and judicial actions and the political and other trends that affect the employee benefits/human resources arena. Requirements/Skills Sought (years of experience, education, certification, etc.): - Minimum 3 - 5 years experience in employee benefits/human resources, good working knowledge of ERISA, Internal Revenue Code and other laws affecting benefits/HR - law degree desirable but not required- Ability to read, understand, analyze, interpret and communicate (in writing) laws, regulations, and other interpretative guidance on employee benefits, particularly retirement benefits- - Excellent Writer - Ability to write clearly, concisely and grammatically correct in non-legalese (writing samples required) - Adaptability - Must be able to respond quickly to developments in field, to multiple and different tasks that may be required- Ability to work as part of team as well as independently- Very well-organized- High attention to detail- Computer skills - High proficiency in Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and other computer programs highly desirable Key Success Factors (specific expectations): - Draft FYI/Newsflash/Legislate/Other publications after reading primary source material of development- Confer with other research personnel/consultants over impact of development- Perform technical review of publications drafted by other Research staff - Edit and proofread various documents and publications- Provide input into developing new processes and procedures for maintaining and producing information and positioning Buck as Thought Leader To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
