Client Services Engineer Responsibilities: Troubleshooting desktop problems Supporting Microsoft Outlook, other Microsoft Office applications, and trading applications Installing Windows XP workstations and laptops for users Creating new users Configuring Cisco switches, DHCP and DNS Deploying applications Configuring Blackberries Configuring Avaya PBX, voicemail, and phones Be available 24 hours on a rotation basis for local and international support Required skills, knowledge, and experience: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Troubleshooting experience Bachelors degree or higher in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering Knowledge of the Microsoft Windows 2000 and Windows XP operating systems Knowledge of Microsoft Office 2003 applications Windows Remote Installation Service Microsoft Exchange 2003 Avaya PBX, VOIP, and voicemail Knowledge of basic protocols, including HTML, DHCP, LDAP, DNS, TCP/IP, HTTP, SMTP Basic knowledge of routing and networking technologies Deploying applications and basic desktop engineering Knowledge of Office applications, Bloomberg, Reuters, and other common trading applications Some knowledge of Unix environment Desired skills, knowledge, and experience: Perl programming Blackberry Enterprise Server To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
