IT Support Engineer (THIS POSITION IS FOR DAILYCANDY, a new member of the Fandango family) in New York, NY

DailyCandy, the popular style and trends e-mail newsletter and website, is seeking an IT Support Engineer in our New York City office.
The role you could play with us:

Hardware and Software support for all employees in our NYC office and those working remotely around the US and in London
Setup of new notebooks and desktops for both new employees and older machines needing replacement
Support of Blackberry and other mobile email-enabled devices
Assume responsibility for local and remote backup systems, confirming success of nightly backups, tape rotations, etc.
Periodic archiving of data from servers, former employee machines, etc.
Oversee VoIP phone system (Frontend only.  Backend managed by hosted provider.)
Help implement and then maintain tracking system for all support cases
Maintain inventory of all company IT assets
Support and maintenance of local network (Windows servers, switches, routers, firewalls, wireless devices, etc) for the qualified candidate, or a willingness to learn and transition into this responsibility

What we would like you to have:

Minimum 1 year professional experience in networked desktop support. 2+ years preferred.
Degree in related field with minimum GPA of 3.0.  Bachelor’s (four-year college) preferred.
Relevant Microsoft certifications such as MCDST or MCITP and/or network support certification a major plus
Serious proficiency in Windows XP including advanced topics such as command line and registry. Vista and Mac OS both pluses. Proven skills in setup and support of Office 2003 and Office 2007 (specifically Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
Strong understanding of the basics of Windows Domain-based Networking (Windows Server 2003 and newer).  Advanced Windows networking a major plus.
Experience with backup systems, both server based and remote hosted
Experience with Anti-Virus/Malware tools, both commercial and open source.
Understanding of the setup and maintenance of printers in a networked environment
Experience setting up and supporting Blackberry and other mobile devices
Firewall and VPN experience a plus
Familiarity with Cisco VoIP phones a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
