Position: Java ArchitectLocation: Hawthorne (New York, NY)Duration: 1 yearSkills Description: Seeking a systems architect with strong development skills to support research projects in cloud computing, systems management, and service management. In Services Delivery Organization. Candidates should have proven systems-building ability, and solid experience in large-scale system design, software development, and testing. Specific skills required include: Demonstrated proficiency in programming and Scripting languages such as Java, and Perl.Experience in installing and using enterprise Middleware and IT management tools Excellent understanding of operating systems, virtualization technologies (eg, VMWare, KVM), and networking concepts Additional desirable skills include: Familiarity and experience with IBM/Tivoli products, such as Tivoli Provisioning Manager.
