PC Help Desk Support Contractors- Phone & Deskside in New York, NY

Global consumer products company is seeking two PC Help Desk Support contractors for a long-term contract in their New York City Office - one providing phone support and one providing deskside support. The ideal candidate will have 1-2 years of technical support and customer service experience in a MS Windows environment with exposure to Microsoft operating systems, Office suite products, e-mail, remote access, anti-virus, anti-spam and other security software required. Preference is given to PC hardware and Microsoft certifications. He/She will:- Provide technical end-user troubleshooting and training on all company-supported applications for: Microsoft Office, email, data security, administrative products and other desktop software;- Perform help desk duties, responding to end user inquires and maintaining the call ticketing system. provide support to staff;- Provide PC-related hardware and software support including installation, configuration and maintenance;- Determine source of computer problems (hardware, software, user access, etc.) and advise staff on appropriate action;- Work one-on-one with staff to complete application project-based work;- Serve as liaison between staff and technology department to resolve issues;- Provide recommendations on company application purchases;- Give on-the-job training and computer orientation to new department staff members; and -Document resolutions for future reference To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
