Project ManagerLocation - NYCDuration - 6 month contractResponsibilitiesWork with a cross-disciplinary team of resources to provide end-to-end technical project management of all aspects of the solution design and development life cycle for a master data management for a digital asset management (DAM) system that is part of a larger closed loop marketing strategyScope of Work Provides all aspects of technical project management, including management of detailed project requirement definition, budgeting, project planning, metrics tracking, and timely deliverablesBe the main Pharmaceutical representative between the DAM Team and the implementation Technical lead.Developing project estimates, evaluating vendor for implementation.Works with other program workstreams to understand and manage integration points and dependenciesWork tightly with the CUE Solution Architecture team to ensure out compliance with the architecture direction, as well as identify the technical cross-workstream dependencies of the solution.Establishes project scope, clear decision gates, vendor SOWs, and entrance/exit criteria across phases of implementation Creates and maintains project plans and manages all project activities against these plans, including vendor plans Manages day-to-day deliverables and monitors technical vendor project team membersClearly communicates and manages expectations with clients, project team members and related workstreams for all technical solution scope itemsIdentifies and brings to resolution project risks and issues, escalates major project risks to scope or budget or timeline to appropriate escalation pointsPlans for the smooth transition of production applications to support and maintenance structures working with the Services Delivery teamWorks within the project management framework, standards and methodologies defined to ensure consistency and efficiency in delivery to the US pharmaceuticals business Key metrics include on-time, on-budget, on-quality project delivery; client satisfaction on a project-to-project basis; user satisfaction and effective leadership of teams through influenceDrives detailed program requirement definition, planning, team resource management, metrics tracking, and technical program delivery to scope, budget and timelines Adheres to Pharmaceutical ELC Project Methodology documentation standards and processes QualificationsType of Industry/Organizations: Consulting, Information Services/Technology, PharmaceuticalDemonstrated experience managing projects including determining project viability, developing rigorous project estimates, developing and establishing a project plan, budget, and identifying resource requirementsExperience using project management methodologies and standardsPMP certification is desired, but is not required In addition to the above:Managing multiple vendor resources on the same project teamCandidates must have a minimum of at least 6 years experience managing cross-disciplinary teams including experience managing multiple programs with $1MM annual spend as well as 6 years of vendor management experienceExperience with QualityCenter as a testing tool is a plusExperience with deployment activities, including integration testing and user acceptance testing, of large programsRequired sharepoint experience Required advanced excel experienceDesired infopath forms server experienceDesired experience with either Java or .NET Desired content or asset management To Apply to this job go to http://www.GadBall.com or click here
