Equities Project Manager $120,000.00 Title: Equities Project Manager Location: New York Status: Full Time SUMMARY: Global brokerage firm with offices in all major financial centers. is looking for a Project Manager to join our IT Sales Group in our New York office. Role responsible for service delivery and relationship management for NY based front office business units. RESPONSIBILITIES: Utilize strong business knowledge in the area of Equities and Equity options with ability to convert business requirements into adequate technical solutions. Plan and organize activities of designated projects or requests to ensure that the user goals and objectives are accomplished. Manage quality, timelines, and cost of the deliverables. Report on project status and issues to the Steering Committee and PMO. Assist in analyzing and remolding current processes Write project/service related documentation Work very closely with the development team and the support team to deliver high quality services Coordinate and Facilitate among other IT units to accomplish tasks REQUIRED SKILLS: 8 years of total experience including 3 years of Project Management 5 years of Equities and Fixed Income trading experience. 3 years in a client services role Financial knowledge, Fixed Income, Equities, Ability to help business users refine their requirements by stimulating productive work sessions. Ability to manage 3-5 person team for application support. Ability to identify patterns and recommend solutions to industrialization Process Improvement and Quality Methodologies Project Management Experience with SQL, trading systems, Internet/Web-based applications. Microsoft Office and Project Management software Excellent interpersonal skills and a commitment to customer service.
