Policies Business Analyst in New York, NY

A well known Investment Bank based out of New York City is looking for a Business Analyst with experience on Policies and Procedures. Candidate will be working on Policies and Practices revisions and re-definition. Roles and Responsibilities: * Able to quickly understand and/or identify business issues via proactive information gathering from applicable stakeholders. * Able to authors, reviews and edit requirements, specifications, business processes and provide recommendations. * Able to effectively create and deliver the following artifacts: - Process Flows - Narratives - Training Materials and Usage Guides * Able to effectively streamline existing documentation and/or templates in a way that continues to serve a given business purpose. * Able to analyze issues related to processes/controls and effectively suggest areas for improvement * Has extensive experience with business applications that support the documentation requirements mentioned above, such as: - MS Office Suite - MS Visio (or equivalent) - Business Objects * Able to critically evaluate information gathered from multiple sources, reconcile conflicts, decompose high-level information into details, abstract up from low-level information to a general understanding. * Strong analytical skills. * Excellent verbal and written communication skills Experience: Skills: Strong Visio Skills is must along with excellent oral and written skills.
