Job Description: US based Investment banks Program Trading/Algo Trading team are looking for a well-rounded and experienced technologist that has 4-5+ years of the following experience: Maintaining a Flextrade installation (releasing, building, coding, configuring, monitoring, supporting, etc.). Technology role on a Program/Algo trading desk (only) while quickly and accurately responding to business and technology requests. Experience (in depth) with Flextrade is HIGHLY preferred Strong experience with Unix/Linux is required, with particular emphasis on Shell Scripting and Perl Familiarity with Windows NT/2000/XP with emphasis on Microsoft Excel, Excel VBA, SQL and Sybase (or comparable RDBMS) Programming ability in C and Perl - ability to write code (not just maintain) Scripting ability Csh and Ksh - ability to build scripts Experience working with FIX message format (4.0, 4.2) Program Trading and/or Algorithmic trading experience Compliance reporting knowledge (OATS, OTS, DPTR, ACT) Ability to write (not just support) code in Java Desk support experience while positioned with the business (not technology) Apply today with an up to date word formatted version of your CV.
