Oracle Apps ArchitectMelville, NYAdecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technologies professionals, has an immediate Oracle Apps Architect position at our Corporate Headquarters located in Melville, NY.Role and Responsibilities:Work with Business Analyst/end users to understand business requirements Design enhancements and functionality to meet the business requirements Establish technical coding standards, processes and procedures related to Oracle Applications Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting to developers Lead strategic evaluation of emerging technologies that adhere to current Oracle Apps architectural standards and align with Enterprise Architecture standards Work with Enterprise Architecture team to drive the definition and on-going evolution of Oracle Apps architecture Produce documents as per software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologySkills Required:BS Degree Extensive application development experience with the Oracle E-business suite Must be knowledgeable and experienced in relational database concepts, Oracle Apps database architecture as well as Oracle database management and development tools. Must be familiar with the APPS data model and Oracle's coding standards. Strong architecture and design skills 5 years experience with designing, developing, implementing and customizing the Oracle ERP Financials Suite eg AR, AP, GL, FA, Advanced Collections, System Administration, AOL, Workflow Administration etc. At least one, preferably 2 full life cycle implementations 5 years experience in SQL, PL/SQL, Oracle Reports 6i, Oracle Workflow 2.8, Oracle Forms 6i, Oracle RDBMS 10g in large scale UNIX and AIX environment 2 year experience in customizing OA Framework applications Good understanding of UNIX and experience in developing Shell Scripts Good understanding on ETL (like Informatica) and experience in designing solutions using ETL for Oracle Apps Integration with other systems. Hands on experience on the core Oracle SOA Suite components - BPEL, ESB (OSB), OWSM, BAM etc Experience in designing solutions using the Oracle SOA Suite to build interfaces between Oracle Apps Financial Modules and other systems in enterprise architecture. Good understanding Oracle Apps Integration Repository. Should have participated in at least one SOA initiative that involved a top down approach in one or more sub sets of the enterprise's IT Familiar with SOA testing along with Oracle/BEA/IBM stacks. Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, changing environment are necessary Good Analytical Skills. Detail oriented.
