Strategy Manager - Financial - New York in New York, NY

Strategy Manager is urgently required to join a leading financial Institution based in New York City.As a member of the Corporate Strategy and Strategic Marketing team, reporting to the Executive Director, Strategy. The Strategy Manager Funds & ETFs will play a key role in researching and analysing the market for mutual funds, tracker funds and Exchange Traded Funds and for ensuring that the client has a clear strategy in place to capitalise on opportunities within this sectors. The Strategy Manager will be expected to play a lead role in developing and articulating the clients business strategy for the funds and ETFs segmentsCandidates will therefore need to build credibility with the CEO, the CEO Group and the Executive Team. The role is focused on both business strategies as well as on identifying and driving new business opportunities. Candidates will need to demonstrate a blend of commercial awareness and entrepreneurialism, as well as strong analytical skills.The ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate experience in marketing, product management and/or commercial management within the financial services sector. Previous knowledge of the funds and ETFs sectors, gained either from working for a fund manager or ETF manager this would be an advantage although is not essential.In order for you to be considered for this position candidates must be educated to university degree level or equivalent with a minimum 2:1 degree in a numerate discipline from a reputable university.Must be working with a Fund Management/ETF Business Manager background.This position is based in our Clients New York office they would prefer to interview candidates based in the New York area.Salary for this role is up to $110K plus benefits.
