The Wellspring Group is seeking a senior level Actuate developer to support an esteemed client in the Investments area.The candidate should be highly proficient in the Actuate reporting product suite, specifically on erdPro Designer, Information Object Designer and eSpreadsheet Designer. The candidate should also be able to create and maintain complex queries on Oracle. The job would require developing reports, information objects, etc. using Actuate, deploying these objects, and managing the repository. The candidate should also be able to mentor other junior developers and help them trouble-shoot problems. Any familiarity with the BEA Weblogic Portal server, experience in interfacing Actuate reports from a web portal, and business knowledge on Investments is a plus.
Requirements:
- Very strong Actuate reporting product suite 3 years- Oracle and Sybase databases 5 years.- Interfacing Actuate reports from BEA Portal- Excellent analysis and design skills.- Good communications skills, written and interpersonal.Pluses:- Experience with Financial/Investment, Fixed Income, applications.- Broad knowledge of Investment area functions and applications.- Mid-large project exposure.
