The group develops and supports several applications that deal with regulatory requirements: firms financial disclosures (balance sheet, exposure), firms capital charges and several other Regulatory reports. Our strategic platform is a JAVA middle tier, comprised of a configurable cache layer and a business model layer. It provides web-server access to JSP and Swing clients.Platforms: Unix, Linux, Windows Office SuiteDatabases: SybaseSoftware: Java, Swing, JSP, Servlets, Struts, TomcatPrincipal Responsibilities Hands-on development, with emphasis on OO design Working closely with business groups to define and negotiate requirements Proposing and defining strategic flows, providing some technical leadership and guidance to junior members Supporting all phases of project lifecycle; i.e. analysis, design, development, testing, installation and training. Define a long-term strategy to meet growing regulatory requirementsExperience &Skills 3+ years of relevant experience working in comparable environment Strong technical skills with proven ability to work in complex deliverables. Strong interpersonal and communications skills work closely with business users and technologists.
