We are looking for motivated technical professional to join our team as Break-Fix Technician.
The Break Fix Technician is responsible for providing superior IT repair services to our customers.
The B/F Tech is responsible for quickly and effectively diagnosing and resolving IT Repair issues. These services include issues relating to Apple Macintosh and Windows based Desktops and Notebooks, Laser Printers and other peripheral products. Individual will be responsible for managing and securing Parts and Systems while in their possession. This person will be also responsible for maintaining and advancing thier skills and qualifications to keep abreast of the constantly changing IT Repair landscape.
You will be required to present and conduct themselves in a highly professional manner. You will be responsible for your own means of transportation and traveling among the 5 boroughs of NY as well as Long Island to deliver these support services.
Requirements for this position include:
* Excellent customer service skills, with at least 2 years of customer service experience within the IT Service and Repair field.
* Experienced at repairing Desktops, Notebooks, Laser Printers and other related peripheral devices. Highly self confident and motivated
* Strong initiative.
* Highly reliable and dependable.
* Strong communications skills both verbal and written.
* Positive, poised, professional and helpful presence.
* Resourceful and self sufficient. – adapting to situations to get things done.
* Responsible, organized and with an attention to detail.
* Expert experience servicing current suite of Macintosh Systems, Windows based PC systems, HP and or Lexmark Printers and other peripheral equipment
* CompTia A+ Certification Required.
* Apple Macintosh Desktop & Notebook Certification Required
* Major PC Manufacturer (IBM, Dell, HP etc) Desktop & Notebook Certification Required
* Major Printer Manufacturer (Lexmark, HP, Xerox, etc) Laser Printer Certification Required Microsoft Windows XP Professional Certification a plus
Position based in our Hauppauge office and requires daily travel to the five boroughs of New York City and Long Island areas. Valid driver's license and access to a motor vehicle also required.
