My client is seeking an experienced Java Server Software Engineer to join their growing team building web based communication and collaboration products.
Qualified applicants will have 2-5 years experience with Internet Software Development, excellent communications and software engineering skills, and the ability to work effectively in a small team.
Experience: Requirements
* 2+ years Java Development Experience.
* 2+ years Servlet Experience (Tomcat a plus).
* Experience with Struts and/or JSF frameworks.
* Experience with Object/Relational Mapping (ORM) systems like Hibernate.
* Experience working with Unix (Linux) servers, including sockets and IPC.
Bonus Qualifications (nice to have)
* Client-side Java development experience
* JNI experience
* IP Video and/or Audio experience, including DSP, custom file formats, etc.
* C/C++ development experience
* Experience with presence and/or chat systems (e.g. Jabber).
Education:
A computer science or computer engineering degree is preferred but not required
