Network Engineer II in Tarrytown, NY

This position will report to a Manager of Network Engineering. You will be required to provide technical evaluation, installation, implementation and user support of all Wide Area Network related equipment for contractual network commitments for a diversified customer base. You will work with all levels of management, employees, and customers developing and coordinating strategic projects geared towards improving the Company's network products and services. You may be required to work under demanding deadlines to maintain customer satisfaction.

Duties & Responsibilities:

Analyze user requirements, perform cost analysis, and identify designs/approaches to ensure the customer's needs are met.

Submit network connectivity specifications and offer recommendations.

Provide technical leadership for customers routing projects, which may include equipment ordering, testing, troubleshooting, installation, and implementation of upgrades or configurations.

Communicate network status and provide quality documentation.

Establish/maintain a project schedule in coordination with the client and management.

Attend daily/weekly meetings and interact regularly with management, customers and incumbents to constantly improve Network Engineering services.
