Basic Function:
Responsible for the managing, the planning, documenting, testing, and implementation of clients' business projects as they relate to mainframe/pc systems.
Responsibilities:
Manages, on a day-to-day basis the determination of clients' problems/business requirements, notification, resolution, and implementation of projects pertaining to mainframe/pc systems. Translate clients' business requirements into functional specifications and system designs. Manages the development of project plans to include activities to be performed, estimated time frame and effort; ensures adherence to all current standards and procedures, as well as, all efforts are properly documented. Directs the development of test plans and script; coordinates the completion of client integrated and system certification testing to ensure all efforts are properly documented. Provides consultation services to clients, technicians, and Bank departments on the maintenance and functioning of mainframe/pc-based systems. Provides analytical support to other team members and client groups in defining system requirements. Ensures completion of schedules, status reports, and other records and reports on a regular basis to management. Exercise management authority to include staffing, salary/performance and termination. Responsible for knowledge of mainframe/pc systems. This knowledge is used to ensure the successful functioning of the various systems on a day-to-day basis and to maintain system integrity by thoroughly testing all system changes and modifications.
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in experience. Seven to ten years experience in mainframe/pc systems, specifically in systems utilized in areas of responsibilities. Excellent PC/Mainframe skills. Experience on large system enhancements, conversions, and production problem resolution. Excellent analytical and project management skills. Extensive knowledge of the business environment and requirements within assigned areas of responsibilities.
