Basic Function:
The position is responsible for analyzing process and service opportunities within Lending Services with the purpose of improving efficiency, decreasing costs, and improving service.
Responsibilities:
Manages organized process improvement efforts throughout Lending Services using Six Sigma or the Bank's SADI methodology.  Facilitates team-based process improvement projects, introducing and/or utilizing process management methodology.  Coordinates employee communication.  Trains departments' staff members to implement and track results for process opportunities.  Uses quality improvement tools and techniques such as flow charts, run chart development, and pareto chart development and interpretation, to develop and implement customer-focused action plans.  Designs and enforces a customer-focused problem solving process.  Conducts detailed analysis of existing functions to define all processing steps, and dependent systems, documents and flows operational processes and procedures, and collects and analyzes data to determine performance, identify efficiencies, and isolate problem areas.  Performs volume and cost analysis.  Designes and distributes corresponding reports.  Performs other duties as requested by management. 
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in an applicable field.  Minimum three years banking or operations experience.  Demonstrates analytical and creative problem solving skills.  Detail oriented.  Ability to work independently and function as a member of a project team.  Highly skilled in the use of spreadsheet, database, and presentation software.  Excellent oral and written communication skills, strong negotiation and presentation experience, and the ability to interact with all levels of personnel.
