The role of the Lead Software Architect (TIBCO) is to provide technical leadership in the design and implementation. The candidate selected will lead the development and implementation of EAI and BPM components shared across multiple projects. The role requires the ability coordinate project development, implement best practice standards for multiple IT projects and initiatives and to coordinate efforts across teams to develop effective services. This is a hands-on position in which the Lead Architect (TIBCO) will also be responsible for directly implementing the project strategy/
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Manages, coordinates, and facilitates design and implementation of EAI and BPM software.
2. Develops key software components in service-oriented approach to maximize effective reuse.
3. Participates in the establishment, organization, and implementation of short- and long-range goals, objectives, policies, and operating procedures; monitors and evaluates program effectiveness and effects changes required for improvement.
4. Works with project mangers to understand short and long term requirements and priorities.
5. Communicates regularly with Chief Architect and Senior Technical Architect regarding the status of project initiatives; obtains executive guidance and approval as required to advance initiatives; and follows policy and procedures for project controls and IT governance.
6. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
Salary range to $160,000 plus bonus and benefits

Experience: MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor's degree; at least 5 years of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:
. Skill in organizing resources and establishing priorities.
. Expert level understanding of TIBCO components, including best practices, performance tuning strategies in at least three of the following:
o TIBCO BusinessWorks
o TIBCO iProcess (Staffware)
o TIBCO EMS
o TIBCO Hawk
o TIBCO Adapters
. Prior implementation skills and knowledge of Workflow and BPM software tools, packages along with solid working knowledge of application development efforts implementing such tools in complex business processing projects.
. Integration skills with Service Oriented Architectures (SOA) and EAI tools used in conjunction with BPM implementations.
. Knowledge of Enterprise Architecture models, LDAP, Web services, and implementation methods.
. Knowledge of project management principles, practices, techniques, and tools.
. Skill in the use of personal computers and related software applications.
. Advanced verbal and written communication skills.
. Ability to analyze comprehensive business processes, performs in-depth work analyses, and develops computer-generated flow charts.
. Ability to develop project budgets and projections.
. Group facilitation, mediation, and conflict resolution skills.
. Skill in examining and re-engineering operations and procedures, formulating policy, and developing and implementing new strategies and procedures.
. Ability to develop, plans, and implement short- and long-range goals.
. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to deal effectively in a team environment.
Ability to analyze complex problems, interprets operational needs, and develops integrated, creative solutions
