Desktop Support Analyst in NEW YORK, NY

Job Description:

The Desktop Support must have strong interpersonal and customer service skills. This individual must be able to interact with all levels of the business. Excellent communication skills are a must have. Self motivated, with a passion for the opportunity, and is able to be effective in the role immediately.

Our client has a strong private equity practice here in NYC with about 10 – 15 users being supported.

Job Requirements:

- Must be polished and be able to deal with executives
- Must have strong communication skills
- Must have the ability to troubleshoot and resolve issue quickly
- 3-5 years previous experience as a Desktop Support preferably from a Financial Services Environment (i.e. Trade Floor, Hedge Fund, Private Equity, etc.)
- Knowledge of Microsoft 2003
- Ability to Troubleshoot Desktops and Laptops
- Knowledge of Windows 2003 File Server
- Some knowledge of Citrix and Exchange
Experience: Windows Exchange-Active Directory
