Online magazine seeks eager web production artist looking to manage production processes and develop new modules for its website.
Responsibilities:
- Help maintain brand identity via typography, color, and layout
- Work closely with web product and magazine editorial teams to implement and configure drupal modules and special site features
- Understand and accurately build new drupal modules in 5.+ or better
- Assist in daily web production process via content production and imaging

Experience: Familiarity with user-interface and information architecture principles and how to design Web sites with complex information or functionality is necessary.
Must have strong typographic, color, and layout skills, and a deep understanding of how these basic design principles are applied to the web.
Strong PhP and My SQL skills along with strong tableless web page design skills using CSS and HTML needed.
Must be well-versed in Photoshop, Illustrator, and HTML/CSS and have experience using DHTML, XHTML, JavaScript and XML strongly preferred.
Candidate should be experienced in UX/UI Design, Information Architecture and Usability and have experience working on consumer facing content and community sites.
BA in Computer Science (or equivalent), at least 2-3 years experience, and an online portfolio required.
Not required, but a major plus:
AJAX and Flash, Visio, Experience with Content Management Systems, Experience working with Javascript and a Passion for music!
