As the Project Manager, you will need to have an understanding of complex tax concepts and effectively apply tax knowledge to client situations. Will develop and deliver quality tax planning approaches with timely and responsive services and work products that meet and/or exceed client expectations. End to End Project Management -Implementing annual Tax Year 2008 changes related to the NYS Personal Income Tax Program. Do not need to be familiar with the NYS Personal Income Tax Laws. Must be able to produce deliverables (e.g., memorandums, opinions) that analyze statutes, regulations, rulings, case law and other relevant authority and apply it to a taxpayer's complex facts.
Experience: - Minimum 4 years of relevant tax consulting experience or equivalent experience in business or industry.
- Broad exposure to state and local taxation.
- Excellent managerial, organizational and verbal/written communication skills.
