The position will be responsible for administering, managing, analyzing, developing and providing end-user support for the firm’s accounting and financial information system, Elite, and assist with the administration and development of other financial systems applications and their interaction with Elite. <p>
essential duties/responsibilities : <br>
o Financial systems administrator.<br>
o Ensure the integrity and security of the financial system.<br>
o Meet with decision makers, systems owners and end users to define business, financial, and operations requirements and systems goals, and identify and resolve systems issues. <br>
o Collaborate in the planning, design, development, testing and deployment of enhancements to the financial system, like multi-currency and system upgrades, and the conversion of offices onto the financial system.<br>
o Analyze requirements for custom SQL scripts and Elite tables and recommend changes to current processes.<br>
o Assist with the administration and development of other financial systems applications, e.g., electronic expense report system, budget, payroll, and their interaction with Elite.<br>
o Provide orientation and training to end users for all modified and new systems.<br>
o Participate in the development of long-term strategic goals for the accounting and financial system and its interaction with other financial applications.<br>
o Create and maintain documentation related to system configuration, mapping and processes. <br>
o Develop financial system reporting and interfaces.<br>
o Act as liaison to other teams in the department and to the offices, in support of business operations.<br>
o Act as liaison to IT department and outside vendors/consultants (e.g., Elite, Data Fusion)<br>
o Troubleshoot system problems.<br>
o Quickly resolve outages.<br>
o Develop and implement plans to reduce and/or eliminate reoccurrences.<br>
o Assist with the month and year-end close and rollover of the financial system.<p>

Experience: <b> At least 4 years experience in managing and administering the Elite financial system. <p>
Must be fully versed in all Elite modules – ELBS, FMS, AP, credit, trust. Have a solid understanding of the Elite table structure and strong working experience with Crystal Reports and SQL. <p>
Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel. Working knowledge of database logical and physical design and DTE. Working knowledge of backup recovery techniques and disaster recovery strategies.<p>
