Robert Half Technology is currently recruiting for talented UI Engineers for an exciting and successful interactive agency in Midtown. Our client's Interface Engineers are the core builders of everything front-end; from Web to mobile to all things digital, you make it work. You'll concept and build amazing UI, cutting-edge RIAs, and full-blown websites for some of the most high-profile clients in the industry. You’ll have the opportunity to work on small agile teams, focused on delivering real value to users through rapid prototyping and leading edge interactive technology.
These engineers use a vast palette of tools to work on some of the top sites on the Web. You'll see your ideas drive creative, innovative work to a prime spot in front of tens of millions of real users, and you'll be learning best practices and tricks from a diverse team of expert technologists as you do so.
Skills
* Mastery of XHTML/CSS
* Expertise in JavaScript and Ajax
* Experience working with API’s and mashups
* Experience integrating front-end with back-end technology
* Familiarity with other frameworks and technologies a plus (e.g., Django, Rails, Flash, JSP, .NET)
* Cross-browser and cross-platform development expertise
Responsibilities
* Collaboration with creative team and back-end developers to translate
visual ideas into functional and engaging interfaces
* Integration of custom UI's with content management systems
* Implementation of Web Analytics
* ADA/accessibility compliance
* SEO via coding and content practices
* Code reviews and knowledge sharing
* Use of OO methodologies and development processes such as Agile and RUP
* Involvement with crafting functional and technical specifications
