The purposes of this role are to architect, design, and drive the development efforts of various front office applications and components as a senior member of the Global Fixed Income Pricing team. This position requires the ability to come up with independent ideas and work effectively within a global team to rapidly implement solutions and deliver production quality applications that are highly supportable and maintainable.
Core Competencies / Skills
Technical
- Expert level experience with object oriented languages and design patterns (Java, C#, C++)
- Strong knowledge of messaging technologies (RMDS, RV, JMS)
- Expert knowledge of vendor development products and open source initiatives and tools
- Extensive experience developing, maintaining, and deploying enterprise quality applications.
- Strong experience with Agile' style development methods
- Expert with front-end GUI (Swing and SWT)
- Extensive experience working with Fixed Income analytics libraries
