BASIC FUNCTION:As part of M&T’s Lending division the Systems Administrator 1 will be responsible for daily and weekly functional systems transactions necessary to support business lines. RESPONSIBILITIES: Adheres to all current standards and procedures and ensures all efforts are properly documented Develops an understanding of the business and its functions, processes and operations. Keeps abreast of business and market trends that may affect business department. Develops a professional level of communication and cooperation Performs other related duties and projects as requested.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s degree or 3 years experience in a related technical environment Excellent written and verbal communication skills Solid analytical and problem solving skills Advanced Excel skills Strong interpersonal skills Detail orientated and excellent time management skills requiredIDEAL QUALIFICATIONS: One year demonstrated experience in systems administration preferred Shaw or Fidelity experience are a plusExperience with AccessMainframe knowledge/experience a plusKnowledge of commercial and/or mortgage applications Knowledge of mortgage banking operations Excellent project management skills General understanding of M&T, general bank operations and systemic functionality
