Global Professional Services Firm has an immediate full time opportunity for Business Intelligence/Data Quality. Based in New York, you will join our Financial Services Office where we focus on solving complex client business problems involving the acquisition, validation and analysis of data. As a leader in the practice, you will team with data management professionals, other service line leaders, and industry subject matter experts throughout practices to develop a wide range of data management solutions that are customized to our client needs in Banking, Capital Markets, Asset Management, and Insurance. You will assist clients formulate data management solutions as well as perform data analytics around operations, finance, risk and compliance domains. These solutions focus on a broad range of industry challenges from financial and performance reporting, operational efficiencies, AML, Trade Surveillance, BASEL II certification, and other regulatory mandates. You will require to have a deep understanding of various data management disciplines such as data warehousing, ETL, normalized and dimensional Datamodelling, master data management, metadata management, data quality and data governance. Additionally, your experiences should include the architecting of data solutions and implementation of various technologies associated with these data management disciplines. You will also play a role in shaping the operating methodologies and standards for use within the practice and will play a leadership role in our fast-growing practice. RESPONSIBILITIES: You will lead teams of data management professionals in all aspects of design and delivery of business and technology solutions at an executive level within the practice and the firm. This will involve collaboration with other members of the engagement team to plan the engagement and develop work programs, timelines, risk assessments, and other planning documents. You will also be responsible for ensuring high quality in client service by directing daily progress of fieldwork, informing supervisors of engagement status, and managing staff performance. The specific responsibilities of managers, in coordinating other services, will vary with the size and complexity of engagements, as well as the experience of the team members assigned. It is required that you demonstrate a thorough understanding of complex information systems/operations and IT environment trends. You will leverage these skills to identify engagement and client service issues, and communicate this information to the engagement team and client management through written correspondence and verbal presentations. It is essential that you demonstrate strong problem solving, project management, leadership, and sales skills. You must also be able to inspire teamwork, take responsibility for engagement team members, and use current technology and tools to enhance the effectiveness of deliverables and services. It is expected that you will quickly understand client and its service lines and actively assess what the firm can deliver to bring value to clients. You are required to generate new business opportunities by developing ideas and solutions to present to clients. You will be also involved in practice management activities such as recruiting, performance reviews, and supporting business development activities. Proficiency with MS Office suit and various other data management technologies (eg Informatica, Ascential, Teradata, DB2, Oracle, Cognos, Business Objects, etc).
