Network Engineer - Team Lead in Islandia, NY

This is a Team Lead position, so we are looking for a candidate who is highly motivated and confident and is experienced with installation and configuration of Cisco Switches and routers.Main responsibilities will include installation and configuration of Cisco Catalyst 6500's, Catalyst 3500 enterprise series switches, 3800 series routers, Cisco 4400 Series WLAN Controller's. Must have professional conduct and appearance. Candidates are responsible for their own means of transportation and traveling among the five boroughs of NY and Long Island.Requirements:Must be able to follow detailed instructions and assemble and configure infrastructure equipment.2 years experience with installation of Cisco equipment within a multi layer environment and test.Must also have experience and knowledge of VTP, STP, MLS, VLAN, T1, Frame-Relay, Metro Ethernet, ATM, RIP, OSPF, Access-List, 802.11a/b/g.Must have understanding of network diagrams and update using MS Excel.Cisco CCNA Certification.Cisco Advanced Wireless LAN Field Specialist Certification.Ability to lift 60 lbs.Positive, poised and professional presence.Highly reliable and dependable.
