Computer Systems Analyst in Rochester, NY

Ajilon seeks a Computer Systems Analyst in Webster, NY to design, develop, test, and maintain web-based applications. Analyze user requirements, review operating system capabilities, create functional specifications, and develop enhancements for existing systems. Design Linux-based device using Microsoft (ASP.NET, C#, SQL Server) and Java, develop ASP.NET web server to receive, parse and re-transmit the data, and conduct embedded development testing on development board connected via serial interface. Plan and perform serial and USB device communication and data transmission from embedded device via wireless network to web servers. Assist in implementing, maintaining and monitoring systems to ensure deliverance of functionality and optimal performance. Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related plus two (2) years of experience in the Job Offered or as a Software Developer, Programmer or similar. In the alternative, the Employer will accept four (4) years of experience in the Job Offered or as a Software Developer, Programmer or similar. Experience which may be gained concurrently, to include two years of application and web development experience using each of the following: Microsoft, Java, ASP.NET, C# and SQL Server.
