ERP Systems Trainer in Accord, NY

Job Title: ERP Systems Trainer Reports To: Deployment Business Lead Type: Long Term OpportunityLocation: New York, NYCompensation: $800 Day when Training / $400 Day when traveling. PURPOSE The Trainer will tailor training materials for the specific sites and wave and then conduct instructor led training classes across a broad range of subjects to prepare site personnel for the processes and software. Training will be conducted in the local area of the wave's cutover sites. The Trainer will be trained on the processes and software by members of the development and deployment teams. The Trainers will then remain in place as a core training team after deployment to meet on-going training needs.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES in order of importance. Other duties may be assigned.• Train end users, chiefly in instructor led training sessions where they will be speaking in front of a group• Tailor training materials for the specific locations of the audience.• Assist in the planning and execution of training logistics (such as facilities, hard copy material preparation and course registration)• Participate in testing activities• Develop competence in training for all training courses• Develop in-depth expertise in one or two functionsPRIMARY INTERACTIONS • development and deployment teams• Site personnel participating in trainingSUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY• NoneCOMPETENCIES• Functional area specific knowledge in Finance, Sales & Operations, or Supply Chain• Extensive knowledge of their current processes and systems, in order to contrast legacy with the new when appropriate• Strong people skills, ability to work under pressure and proven proficiency in Oracle• Proficiency in using web training aids, computers and a variety of multimedia training aids• Comfortable speaking in front of a group • Strong communication skills• Experience interacting with a variety of adult learners – professional, skilled and hourly labor • Tested to verify working knowledge and proficiency with EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE • A minimum of 4 years industry experience, preferably with some experience in one or more legacy IT systems common in the building materials supply industryWORK ENVIRONMENT / PHYSICAL ACTIVITY The work environment and physical activity described are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
