QA Senior Analyst, Fixed Income Products Technology in NEW YORK, NY

The purpose of this role is to provide hands on support for the QA testing process. The scope of this position is all testing efforts related to US real-time pricing and risk system such as: establishing a well-defined process between development and QA teams, developing test plans, and ensuring high quality of all delivered products. Leadership and Strategic Thinking · Experience in managing offshore resources that are responsible for test execution. Technical · In depth experience in writing and updating Test Plans, Test Design Specifications and Test Cases. · Experience with life cycle stages of software development, including requirements management, design technical specifications, in addition to implementation and testing. Experience in writing automated tests scripts using QTP, WinRunner Business · Previous experience in QA related to Fixed Income with an understanding of real-time pricing and risk calculations for US Treasuries and Agencies bond products. Experience: Primary Objectives Design, implementation and documentation of Q.A. test plans and procedures ensuring complete functional test coverage. Support all test activities, enhance, develop and execute manual and automated test scripts, record and track software discrepancies. All test scripts and defects are to be managed through Mercury Quality Center. Work with project Stakeholders and Developers to ensure that all aspects of the system have proper testing coverage and overall system reliability, performance, and quality. Business Analyst Our client, a downtown based specialty insurance company, has an immediate need for a Business Analyst on a long-term consulting to hire basis. The Business Analyst will be a key member of enterprise level projects that will be evolving current applications in more next generation solutions. The Business Analyst will gather customer and user requirements and deliver appropriate solutions from the development side. The BA will write work flow charts and diagrams. The BA will work closely with the web development team in gathering and analyzing requirements for the new development systems.
