Midtown Investment Bank is looking for a PERL DEVELOPER with strong financial industry experience. The successful candidate will support Front Office traders.
Must have strong relational database experience using Oracle (preferred) or Sybase.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain production environment through monitoring scripts.
- Work with and maintain the Openlink ENDUR application environment in production Stabilize and Monitor the EOD batch.
- Maintain multiple environments for development, QA, UAT and production.
- Work with Endur built-in scheduler
- Extensive programming using Perl and Oracle Stored Procedures
- Debug and Maintain production AVS scripts within Endur.
- Maintain all sources in Source Control using CVS.
Experience: Qualifications
3+ years experience with scripting in Perl, ksh Perl, Oracle Light admin Good oral Communications Good written communications
Perl, SQL, KSH scripting in a Windows and Unix environment Oracle Stored Procedures, Solaris 2.8, Linux SuSE Front line support of a trading desk
