A well known provider of online analysis to world business and current affairs is looking to bring on a Quality Assurance Analyst for their digital media team. The Quality Assurance Analyst will be responsible for creating test scripts and documenting defects in current and newly developed features of their main and sister websites. This position requires frequent interaction with developers as well as project managers; therefore candidates must possess good oral and written communication skills. Specific duties for the position are: *documenting quality standards and supported environments, *verify that new releases are working correctly across all supported environments, devise and implement test strategy and test plans, *validate feature implementation across a broad range of browsers, *continuously improve quality assurance processes and participate in the resolution of bugs. Successful candidates will have the following required skills to be considered: experience interfacing with developers and other staff members gathering requirements, *strong analytical and problem solving skills, excellent verbal and written communication skills, *3+ years experience in writing test cases from requirements/use cases/functional specs/mock-ups, *3+ years experience in writing test plans, executing test cases, prioritizing test case execution, test scheduling, managing defects and generating test reports, *experience with performing post-test analysis and assessment, ability to take the lead in testing efforts, experience with testing dynamically created database-driven web pages, *previous experience with content web sites and content management systems.
