.Net Programmer/Web Developer in Brooklyn, NY

UNIVERSAL Technologies is seeking a .Net Programmer/Web Developer to join our Brooklyn, NY team. The successful candidate should possess a minimum of four years experience with writing application software, data analysis, data access, data structures, data manipulation, databases, programming, testing and implementation, technical and user documentation, software conversions; environments include but are not limited to personal computers, laptops; available to assist and/or lead in the design of program specifications and the implementation of software solutions. Responsibilities of this position include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • The primary responsibility will be to create project plans for, as well as program, develop, document and maintain, internet web-based applications using the Microsoft .Net framework.
  • Project management tasks in the following areas:
    • Create and maintain dynamic, interactive web applications using the Microsoft .Net framework
    • Create and maintain related project documentation using Share Point and Microsoft Project 2000 management tools
    • External and inter-agency interfacing to gather project specs and requirements
    • QA applications in accordance with our web application standards

Experience: To be considered for this position candidates must possess the following mandatory skills and experiences:

  • Advanced Microsoft .Net framework programming, including XML C#, and ASP.Net
  • Visual Studio .Net and Visual Source Safe
  • SQL Server 2000
  • Experience in Content Management Solutions
  • Web design, including HTML, CSS, DHTML/JavaScript
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills

Candidates with the following desirable experience will be considered first:

  • Microsoft Certified Solution Developer certificate
