Reports to: Director of Project Management
General Description:
The Senior Project Manager (SPM) has start-to-finish management responsibilities for all projects throughout the technical organization. The SPM provides support and direction to the Project Manager, helping to ensure his/her ultimate success.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
. Manages project managers and oversees all projects in the technical department.
. Keeps team communications open.
. Responsible for reporting status and methodology.
Skills and Qualifications:
The following are the minimum requirements for consideration.
4 years agency or consulting experience in program/project management to include all of the following:
. Client side experience on complex backend systems for B to C transactional websites such as ad serving, commerce, or social networking.
. End to end (kickoff through maintenance) development on projects.
. Scoping and estimating project size, efforts, and tasks.
. Risk mitigation experience.
. Proven communication protocols.
. Managing complex backend QA testing.
. Microsoft Project
